Use of AI Statement

e-Publica is committed to ensuring the responsible, transparent and ethical use of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in scholarly publishing. The Journal recognises that AI tools may assist authors, reviewers and editors in performing technical, linguistic and organisational tasks. However, AI may not replace human intellectual contribution, scientific judgement, editorial decision-making or peer review.

Authors

The use of AI tools by authors is permitted only for auxiliary purposes, such as language editing, stylistic revision, translation, improving textual clarity, preliminary literature searches and the preliminary organisation of research materials. Authors remain solely responsible for the originality, accuracy and integrity of their manuscripts. AI tools must not be listed as authors or co-authors.

Whenever AI tools are used in the preparation of a manuscript, authors must disclose their use both in the manuscript itself and by submitting an AI Use Disclosure, in accordance with the Journal's Use of AI Policy. The disclosure must identify the AI tool used, the purpose of its use and confirm that the manuscript has been reviewed and validated by the author(s).

Reviewers

Reviewers may use AI tools only for limited linguistic or stylistic assistance. AI must not be used to generate peer review reports, editorial recommendations or scientific assessments, nor may confidential manuscripts or editorial materials be uploaded to AI systems that do not guarantee confidentiality and data protection.

Editorial Team

The editorial team may use AI tools solely to support technical and administrative editorial tasks, including language editing, formatting, plagiarism detection and metadata verification. AI is never used to make editorial decisions or to replace the scientific or ethical assessment of submitted manuscripts. All decisions concerning peer review, acceptance, revision and publication remain the exclusive responsibility of the Journal's editors.
